Micro Firesteel
Fits in a SAK Farmer and probably larger folders. I used the back of the saw to throw enough sparks to ignite some fluffed up jute and fatwood today. One thing to watch out for... the micro firesteel will fall out when you open any of the tools, it would be easy to lose, (ask me how I know, smh).

Firesteel micro
Purchased this in an attempt to fit it in a slot of a Swiss Army knife either the pen or tweezers unfortunately for me it was still too large of a diameter to fit I will fit it into the nylon sheath that I have for the knife I would purchase again when needed.

Great idea
Does fit in leatherman behind saw and file. Scrapes easily and effectively.

Fire breathing pencil lead.
Yup, it's tiny. I neglected the warning of breaking it and put some pressure on it, it throws plenty of spark to start decent tinder. These are just cute, if you can't get 50 cents worth of fun with it if nothing else, there is something wrong with ya.

Emergency carry
This rod is really small. Still, the material is good, as all FireSteel.com products, so it throws good sparks. It is so thin, I was afraid it would break with the first stroke, but it held up well. I altered my grip, supporting it against my finger. The beauty of this micro is that it can be carried anywhere. I slipped it (plus a drill bit as striker, plus 2" of jute twine tinder) into a section of soda straw, and I keep it in my wallet.

Just right
I was looking for something to put in to a fishing kit. These work amazingly! Throw excellent sparks for size.

Very, very small, but does work
I pair this with a DermaSafe "knife" and strike with the blade side. The firesteel is very, very small and hard to hold. It is best to brace it flat against something else, like a chopstick, for example, so you can scrape it hard enough. I can typically ignite a 1/3 piece of tinderquik every other strike (50% of the time) in ideal conditions.
