Easy to Use, Takes Patience
What I like about these magnesium firesteel rods is when your rod wears out you can easily get another to replace it. Make a small pile of magnesium shavings using the knife or firesteel scraper. It can take several minutes to do this, be patient. BUT these magnesium rods provide tinder that is ALWAYS dry, even if they have been dunked in water. I recommend you always carry tinder like these mag rods. If all natural tinder is wet you will know you can still start a fire.
