    Something so small and versatile should be part of every kit. It doesn't need to go in your kit, lace it in boot so it is always there.

    Works great. Lots of sparks. You have to be careful if using a knife but a striker works with no knicks to my fingers. I like them and will buy more.

    Like others on the reviews, I weaved my fire toggle into a paracord bracelet. It works great as true "emergency" fire starter. It's a little hard to hold but overall, definitely nice to have. Will buy more!

    I put one of the magnesium/firesteel toggles on my keychain, along with a flat old-style steel striker. No weight, hardly adds to the bulk of the key-chain, and a little peace of mind. Love it.
