The FireSteel Armageddon™ Series by FireSteel.com are 3/8 of an inch thick.
The 3/8 diameter x 4 inches long Armageddon 4.0™ by FireSteel.com with pre-drilled lanyard hole, plus the famous Super Scraper and lanyard to go with it.
Add the optional Magnesium Tinder rod (3/8" x 3") and you'll have the means to start a fire even in damp conditions.

I purchased this product to be used as my primary firesteel on camping trips. I liked the idea of having a scraper to save my knife from getting dirty and possibly damaged whilst striking the steel(by making contact with the ground). The first thing I noticed after unboxing was how hefty this steel is. The striker is light weight and is a good size and shape. The lanyard included was very nice paracord in a camo color. The firesteel and striker work great. The first test out of the box was to light some dryer lint which was lit on the first spark. Then I used the steel and striker on a weekend camping trip in which it lit every fire throughout the weekend. The tinder was fatwood that had been feather sticked. Product worked as advertised very reliable. The firesteel also appears as it will last through many uses due to the larger size. Recommended.

This is a MUST have!
Whether you are a causal camper who needs a tool to start a camp fire or looking for a valuable thing to have in a survival situation, the FireSteel is what you are looking for. After getting it out of the box and going outside and gathering some kindling, two strikes and I had a fire. Great product.

Awesome Fire Starter
I have a 4" Armageddon. This thing has twice the sparks and lights my fire starters with one scrape. I don't worry about not being able to start a fire anymore in wet or dry conditions. This is a "must have" tool! Note:I gave away my LMF Swedish Firesteel to my neighbor the day after I got my Armageddon Firesteel.

You need this
Using a mix of dry pine needles and dryer vent lint. Lit the first strike.Used the entire damp drizzly week Lit first or second strike.Great product

Didn't know what a good ferro rod was before this.
This thing will light material that resisted sparks from my Doan Firestarter. I am impressed. Very effective product. Definitely recommending to friends.

This is now my "go to" fire starter.
I am very happy with my purchase. I recently bought a new firepit and wanted to give this combo a try versus using a match. My tinder bundle did not stand chance against these sparks and magnesium scrapings. Everything worked as advertised. This will now go with me whenever I go hiking or camping with the family. Thank you Ron for quickly delivering a great product. Will be back for some more.

Armageddon Top of the Line
This is the best firesteel I have purchased. I had our preteen grand children starting the campfire with both pitch and cotton balls. This is a great size to carry.
