I have been using your firesteel rods now for about a year and absolutely love them. My 7 year old even knows how to use them. I ordered this last
batch to give to my friends.

Bought three armagaddon firesteel w/strikers and one bunker firesteel --very impressed. I bought from three differnt suppliers of tactical nylon and flashlights at the same time and the FireSteel.com fireSteels were the first products to show up!
Great turnaround time.
Thanks

Without a doubt one of the best fire steels I've used so far, nothing can describe the awesomeness of this fire steel, you can only understand it after using it.
He doesn't call them "World Class Fire Steels" just for show.

Today I receive my fire steel and mightIi say these are hectic. If you seen the Man vs Wild series, you too would also know how important a fire is.
These bad boys will make fire with any good tinder such as dry grass, cotton, tree bark.
The real deal guys.. Thanks Ron

Hello Ron , I received my Fire Steel today and could'nt wait to try it out. After scraping off a line of protective coating I had fire on the first try!
This fire steel is freaken unbelievable. I am forty nine year's old and I wish I would of had this forty year's ago.
Thank You for such a good product. Keep your powder dry, sincerely JS

Just received my firesteels a few days before a wilderness skills event. One of the events was to light a fire using the firesteel and boil a pot of water. It was snowy and damp and every team lite a fire with little work.
It was their first time ever using these firesteels.
They all looked like pros at lighting fires this this way. Many thanks Ron!

Platoon commander turned me on to these FireSteel.com firesteels. This armageddon 3/8 x 4-inch firesteel has sparked hundreds fires, we used it for lighting gas stoves and heaters does a great job of it, better than matches and lighters. And the firesteel ALWAYS starts a fire (which cannot be said for matches and lighters).
Get these firesteels, you will be glad you did.

Right out of the box we fired up a blaze in no time. Do these work as advertised? No. They work ten times better!
I like this model because you can use your knife as a firesteel striker but it is good to know I have a built in striker too.

I just ordered recently an armageddon firesteel with lanyard and scraper, and button compass. Well they just arrived today, and I am very happy with these products. This has to be the biggest firesteel I have ever owned, and it throws sparks like the fourth of July.
Once again, thank you for a quality piece of gear that won't break the bank. I will refer you to everyone I know.

Like Ron said, your gear is only as good as your ability to use it.
Ron's FireSteels make fires, hands down. He has two types of scrapers - the regular flat scraper and the new "super scraper". I've got both and am very pleased with performance.
A vid of the flat scraper in action - can't make this stuff up! With a little practice you can do it too:
