Description

FireSteel.com Super Scrapers (also known as "FireSteel Strikers") are specially manufactured using an extra-hardened metal alloy that maximizes the amount of sparks you get when scraped against a FireSteel.com FireSteel.  These scrapers have become the de-facto scraper of choice among FireSteel enthusiasts.  We have customers who routinely purchase our specially made FireSteel.com Super Scrapers by the dozen and even by the hundreds!

If you want the most out of your FireSteel, we recommend you get a FireSteel.com Super Scraper.  Even though you can use any sharp, hard object to produce sparks from our FireSteel.com FireSteel (even a piece of broken glass will do the trick in a pinch), if you want a piece of gear that is compact and efficient, get a FireSteel.com Super Scraper.  Every one of the 6 edges of the Super Scraper's blade is very hard, sharp and ready for action.  Because the metal is of superior hardness and durablity, the sparking action is extreme to say the least!

The metal striker blade is securely attached to a hard plastic holder complete with lanyard hole for ease of attachement to your favorite FireSteel with Lanyard Hole.

FireSteel.com FireSteels are already the best FireSteels in the world.  Combined with our excellent FireSteel.com Super Scrapers (Strikers), you can rest assured that you will be able to make a fire whenever and wherever you need one.

The first time I tried this striker I was impressed. The shower of sparks it threw from the fire steel rod was amazing. A definite must have in your survival kit.

Don't let the size fool you.

This is the perfect size striker: Light, very compact, and simple to use. Just strike down the firesteel and get enough spark to light pretty much anything, damp or dry. This is one item that will not go missing from my pack.

This scraper is just amazing. Very small and compact, with very little effort a massive amount of sparks can be produced from the fire striker. Will not be caught without it from now on.

    Excellent

The firesteel striker works very well. It's a bit big for an altoid tin type kit, but it works so well that I carry them in my vehicles.

I like the design of this scraper for its simplicity, compactness, and effectiveness at generating a generous supply of hot sparks. It looks like it will be durable and I like the fact that it easily and unobtrusively carries on a key ring or survival kit. A great value!

    Best scraper

I have tried many different scrapers; none compare to the Super Scraper. Considering the price and effectiveness, it would be foolish not to own several of these. Buy some. Now!

This product is definitely an asset to the firesteel. I've bought several firesteels and never gave this product a thought until now, Wow! So handy and I don't have to worry about losing my knife when I'm making a fire. Highly recommended.

Great little scraper. Once you find it's sweet spot, it'll really throw those sparks.
