Best Firesteel

I love it! It's the best ever!
I've used several different fire steels over the years and quickly learned that the scraper is crucial. This scraper is simply the best out there. With this scraper all of my kids (ages 4-9) can throw a shower of sparks.

The reviews were right!
I bought a few super scrapers based on the good reviews on several sites. I was looking for something simple to save the back of my knife. I was not disappointed. Items arrived quickly. It works!
I was using some other strikers and fire rods and such, I picked these up at various places. I never was able to start a fire and became flustered with the other products. I then discovered firesteel.com and started my first one using the striker....awesome. All of my products for starting a fire will come from firesteel.com from now on. If you are thinking about it, do it, you will not be sorry.

Superior Scraper
I bought a few super scrapers to test out on miniature Firesteel.com blanks. The scraper and mini combination works well. Although it is easy enough to learn to hold the scraper and rod to get sparks on the first scrape, I developed another technique others may find useful that requires less exactness. I scrape lightly and quickly on the rod a few times till a small spark jumps out. On the next pass I bear down more with the scraper on the rod and a shower of sparks fly off.
