  • NEW! is proud to introduce the Fiber Light Fire Starter, an amazing new line of wood-based tinder. If you can't start a fire using Fiber Light Fire Starter you have no business playing with fire.

We've been searching high and low for a wood-based tinder that would make an excellent addition to our product offerings and we're pleased to say we found just the thing: the "Fiber Light Fire Starter"!

Made from finely ground wood fibers and wax, produced and packaged right here in the US, Veternan owned and operated, and it is an AMAZING tinder!  If you can't start a fire using this stuff, you have no business playing with fire.

Packed in convenient, re-closable zip-top baggies, our 1 oz sample-sized "Fiber Light Fire Starter" bags are lightweight and easy to carry wherever you go, affording you the ability to make fire at a moment's notice using a naturally water-resistant tinder as a fire starting aid.

PLUS: "Fiber Light Fire Starter" bags make great stocking stuffers!  Pair a baggie with a GobSpark Armageddon with Palm Scraper kit and you've got a great gift that is sure to please!

To use, open the bag and take a pinch or two of the "Fiber Light Fire Starter" fibers from the bag.  Fluff them into a small pile, then scrape your FireSteel sparks onto the pile.  The pile will quickly burst into flame and burn for several minutes.

A great aid in helping you start a fire even when your firewood is damp.  Also works with matches or any other flame or spark.

Remember, "Fiber Light Fire Starter" bags are made right here in USA from wood processed and packaged by American workers.  Remember - buy American made products and keep us all employed!

Approx weight: 1 oz

Approx size laid flat: 5-inches X 3-inches X 1-inch

NOTE:  Skip to 1:40 in the video below to see the fiber light tinder in action!  (P.S. The orange firestarter is our own GobSpark Armageddon FireSteel.)

I haven't got to the woods to try it out yet. But the product looks very good. I ordered two bags of the fiberlight tinder that come in 1oz sandwhich bags and also some little firesteels for my camp bag and altiods tin and some survival projects im making. I'm very pleased with my order. Thank you again,!!

I will carry this light weight fire starter with me camping and back country hunting, along with my Gobsparks. Together they make lighting a fire so easy.

I have tried quite a few of these products. Most are crap in my experience. I had "fat wood fire starters" that would hardly burn in a good fire! This stuff, even a light strike from the rod will do. I love thier products. One stroke, done. Maybe thats why im single?! LOL

    Still experimenting

So far, works best with a few magnesium shavings mixed in. Extends burn time. Working on finding best way to use material with only a ferro rod.

A little goes a long way

I tend to shy away from prepared tinders, favoring a simple stick of fat wood due to the large number of fires you can start with it, but this stuff is the exception. With a stick of fatwood you can scrape a LOT of tinder off as you need it and it burns a decent amount of time. I have discovered that with theach Fibre Light Firestarter tinder I can cram a lot of it very tightly into a small container. When I remove a small portion and fluff it back up again it lights every time with a single stroke of the firesteel. What’s more, it burns longer than a similar pile of fat wood shaving would. Lights easy, packs small, burns a long time. This stuff ticks all of the boxes!
