If I can make a fire with one, any body can do it.

I recently purchased three of the Fire Steel Ranger's. I put one in each of my vehicles and one in the house. I figured they would be no good to me if I didn't know how to use them. So I took a tissue and split it in half and put it inside my wood stove. I am happy to tell you I had fire on the second strike of the Ranger. I tried it with a crumpled up newspaper and had the same results.
I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how easy it is to use your product.
My church has a person that takes orders once a month for food storage and other survival items that we feel is necessary to have in our homes. I am going to pass along to her your web site and I hope to get you a large order from the people at our church.
Thanks again for making such a great and easy to use product. If I can make a fire with one, any body can do it. Keep up the good work.

Having used the Ranger firesteel.com firesteel on our first overnight camp out, I must say these firesteels are easy to use. We started many campfires with them. Dry tinder is important. Firesteels are very good to have and we will be carrying them with us whenever in the wild.
Now I know I can make a fire whenever I want. Thank you.

The Ranger FireSteel with Scraper and Lanyard are inexpensive and perfect for groups like ours where a small budget demands good planning. With these firesteels we easily and cheaply outfitted the entire group with high quality fire making gear that works under the extremes of wet and cold.
