Magnesium FireSteel Toggles takes one of our Magnesium Toggles (that can be used as tinder to help start fires) and attaches a small FireSteel rod.

- FireSteel Toggle is composed entirely of FireSteel and has two neatly drilled holes
- FireSteel Toggle Cyclops is composed entirely of FireSteel and has one hole neatly drilled dead center of the rod
- Magnesium Toggle is composed entirely of Magnesium
- Magnesium FireSteel Toggle is a Magnesium Toggle onto which a FireSteel Rod has been attached.

Specifications
- Size: 5/16 inch diameter by 1 inch long (9.5 x 25.4mm) magnesium rod
- FireSteel Rod: 1/8th inch diameter by 1-inch long
- Weight: .11 of an ounce (3.1 grams)
- 2 neatly drilled 1/6-inch diameter holes (.165 inch) spaced 5/32 of an inch apart edge to edge (see picture)
- Rounded outer edges for a finished look
- 5500 F (3000 C) sparks that will start a fire in the toughest conditions
- Composition: FireSteel.com ferrocerium rod + pure magnesium rod

Really fantastic tool to place on knife lanyards, backpacks, key chains, whistle cordage, and even tied into your boot laces.
We are planning to tie these and a striker into each boot lace as fail safe fire making back up tools should we ever loose a backpack to bears or a trail water crossing gone badly.
Get "TWO" or more of these tools and tie them into both R&L boot laces with a firesteel.com striker tied in as well.
