Deluxe FireSteel Tube Bunker
This BEAST of a FireSteel Tube™ is the latest addition to the FireSteel.com FireSteel Tube series. It is the biggest, baddest fire making gear EVER made!
Comes with rugged FireSteel Tube ™, 1/2 inch thick x 4-inch long FireSteel, 20mm Liquid Filled Button Compass of excellent quality, over 18-feet of military spec parachute cord, and a genuine FireSteel.com Super Scraper built in! There is also a special tinder compartment that keeps your tinder dry and ready to use.
The FireSteel inside measures 1/2 x 4-inches (3.5-inches useable) and will probably light tens of thousands of fires - I don't know because I have never worn one out!
Each end of the firesteel has a cap that unscrews. Unscrew one cap to reveal the firesteel scraper. Reverse the cap and screw it back into the tube to create one heck of a scraper handle! Unscrew the other cap and pull your firesteel from its protecting tube.
One end of the tube contains a very fine 20-mm liquid filled button compass with luminous glow in the dark dial that has been carefully checked for accuracy.
The FireSteel Tube ™ is securely wrapped with appoximately 15-feet of high grade 550 parachute cord made to military specifications. This cord has 7 inner strands surrounded by an outer sheath and is rated with a minimum breaking strength of 550-pounds. "550 paracord" has a thousand and one survival uses; from field expedient equipment fixes, fishing line and even dental floss.
Each FireSteel Tube ™ also has a genuine FireSteel.com FireSteel Super Scraper and lanyard consisting of and additonal 3 feet of military spec 550 parachute cord. These famous FireSteel.com super scrapers have been proven to give ultra robust sparks when used on a FireSteel.
This FireSteel.com FireSteel Tube ™ features the very popular 1/2 x 4-inch Bunker FireSteel in a nearly unbreakable aluminum tube. The FireSteel can be easily replaced should it wear out (unlikely for years to come!)

Survival Necessity!!

The Deluxe FireSteel Tube is an exceptionally useful and valuable piece of gear to add to your survival kit. Exceptionally durable, effective and portable, it works first time every time producing 5500 degree sparks. I also purchased one for my son and his family, and they were equally impressed. We heartily recommend this product.

You can't fully appreciate this firesteel until you hold one in your hand and use it. It's beautifully built, works like a charm and is manufactured in the U.S.A. What more can you ask for? I'm looking forward to using mine again and again.

The Deluxe Bunker Tube by Firesteel.com is a well designed "chunk" of molten-metal slingin' hellsparx that also could serve quite well as a blunt force "Kubotan" style persuading instrument. I instantly fell in love w/mine...I won't even walk out the front door without it. Find a small carbon steel one piece knife that you could wrap and slide in w/the steel...Your survivalist mindset will see multitudes of options...Get a Deluxe Bunker Tube! You'll never regret it!

American made, the quality of the tool tells it all!
I have bought a couple other fire starters with the magnesium blocks you have to shave, they are a joke!! And alot of work! With the right tinder, Firesteel gets it started with less work,(without magnesium) to me that is everything when your hands are freezing, or it is ice cold outside! You don't have to worry about it failing, unless you lose it!
There is alot of material in the bunker tube, I would not worry about running out any time soon!
Like i said Great Product! American Made! Worth Evey Penny!!!

Amazing product, at an ridiculously low price. Not to mention that its made here in the USA.
Too often you find gear that's priced too high, and costs too much for shipping, and when you finally do get the item, you find out its not at all what you ordered or expected. Not the case with this firesteel.com firesteel tube. When I first unscrewed the firesteel out of the tube, I was shocked at how big it is and what the possibilities are with this in your survival kit.
I reversed the super scraper into the tube, and went immediately to strike it, and was rewarded with a massive shower of 3000 degree sparks all over the kitchen floor, and I'm glad I ordered this product.
Another thing is that you cant be offset by the price of this item. It will be worth every penny you spend on it, since it could very well save your life one day. I pack it everyday in my ruck where ever I'm going, it currently sits next to a surefire light and a knife, the three things I make sure never to leave the house with.

This is the second fire steel that I ordered. It is very well made and works the first time. I have used several other fire starters and none of them compared in quality or the amount of sparks produced. I highly reccomend FireSteel.

What can I say, this is my second firestarter from FireSteel. My first was the Armageden. My son loved it so much that it ended up in his camping kit....lol These units are very well made and will last a lifetime. The amount of sparks you get is amazing.
